With some questions raised about Pyometra I figured I would post some links which explain what it is and the dangers of it i pray for those that have never had to deal with it you never do...but any of us with females that we do not have spayed and have plans of having litters This IS something that can happen to our girls ... sad part is by the time you see the real signs specially if it is closed pyomera in the uterus your dog will be in eminant danger..They can literally be fine one day and wham be sick shocky and not eating or moving the next those are the extemes and unfortunately ones that the vets see the most but for the most part an emergency spay those dogs have a fairly quick turn around. www.marvistavet.com/html/body_pyometra.htmlwww.thepetcenter.com/sur/pyo.htmlvetsurgerycentral.com/pyometra.htm
