I do... Brittanys are prone to several eye disorders and unfortunately most of them are late onset. More common are: Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA) we have the lae onset form usually after 5 years of age. French lines also have the early onset form and so we can also see it in our American dogs as well if combined just right. We also see some Luxated Lense issues....it can be the primary cause or it can be secondary to Glaucoma. But most cases tht I have seen as a Veteruinary technician have been primary luxations. We also have Cataracts which recently have been also associated in a similar fashion to PRA. Science is progressing...but since we do not have the same organized genetics research and monies as some breeds have we do not have genetic markers to help us...so alll we have is the current CERF examinations.
