How to end the season

Though we did have a few dogs along Bailey learned to stop to flush and handle for me ..smoke and I also learned more about hunting with each other My primary goal dog was little K Nine's Coyote Ugly aka Yotie

Over the few days we got to hunt she proved herself to be a trooper even when her paws were sore she still hunted when it got warm she still worked was beginning to wonder if she was ever going to hit the right side of the bushes and the end of our first juant 3 days she finally ahd a point which I already posted where i took the picture of her and we watched that bird fly away she was hot tired and sore but she found a bird

Just a bit flatter temps were very warm but at least my knees where able to handle this much better

and doesn't matter which way you looked it was wide open and we are blessed with permission to hunt this private ranch

We learned more about stop to flushes and that jack rabbits and bunnies are not to chase..end of the day hot tired and sore we finally got a point I just took the pic

I do have to say with the weather today nice cold to cool rain sleet and Snow? I wasn't bringing the camera along at the pond it had about 70 -100 ducks on it ...some sand hill cranes were meandering around
but wow what a difference in weather from a few days ago

well after working some more open area which only panned out a few wild flush birds in the open and another area where yotie finally got a good scent on a bird which flushed on her you could really see the light click on once she had that she really started to hunt harder specially with it much cooler we worked back to the truck took a small rest and went on around another portion of the section and there Yotie finally had a beautiful find on a covey of scalies...She did her job and ...Wooooo Hoooo I did mine
