How do you all keep your dogs warm on early show mornings???
This morning I had a show time of 9:10am, and it was probably 55 degrees and WINDY. And we were at an outdoors show, under 'permanent cover'. My bitch was shaking, and stacking didnt go too well. She was all hunched up from the cold and didnt want to hold a stack. Needless to say, my special got dumped to some class dogs that had time to get warmed up. ;-P
So...any ideas on keeping warm for tomorrow?! We show at 9am again, and hoping the wind will settle down.

get up a little earlier and exercise the dog some more, I have seen your dog jump in a river in temperatures way below 55 degrees and keep hunting. Maybe she's getting a little spoiled? Time to get her broke and running in the field again. See ya at the nationals and it may be very cold

Oh she is getting spoiled thats for sure! Haha, and has crazy hormones...shes having a big ol' false pregnancy. That'll be fun at the National.... ;-P
After spring and her litter, she'll have to get some field training!!!
