We have been involved with Brittanys for 30 years, since 1978. Our first boy was a Canadian Field Champion, Amateur Field Champion and Show Champion by the age of 3, so needless to say, we were hooked! After 3 Brittanys in a small home in the city of Toronto, it prompted us to move to the country and start our breeding program. First, with small acreage, then move again to more acreage. We have owned and bred some fine dogs over the years, and enjoy participating in Field Trials, Shows, Tests, with our dogs. Some accomplishments include winner of Victoire Nationale Derby, breeding 2 dogs from same litter that were ranked in the top 20 of the Iams All Age Dogs of the Year, numerous Test & Show titled dogs, and another dog we bred (but unfortunately don't own) was posted at the Gun Dog Nationals this year. We enjoy marshalling & helping at the G.D. Nationals each year, and love the Ionia Field Trial grounds in Michigan. Our vacation is usually spent either at the Michigan Championship in March or the Gun Dog Nationals in October. As CKC Western Ontario Pointing Breed Rep, professional trainer, and both judges of CKC & AKC events, we are kept quite busy. We love these dogs and wouldn't have it any other way. ruffwood@sympatico.ca

Way to go, Blaze. We look forward to it again next year. I'm anxious to see Julie's photos of the hawks.
