What kind of grooming do Brittanys need before being shown? Is it a significant amount or are they fairly easy to prepare for a show? How much time would it probably take to do?

Check out this site for show grooming info: brittanygrooming.com/Its very detailed and covers just about everything you'll need to do. Once you get all the trimming and whatnot done, its fairly simple to just brush them out again at the show. :-)

There was a Brittany Video done w/ Jordean's a while back it might still be available via Canine Training Systems of Colorado "In The Ribbons- The Brittany" Still not as detailed footage on grooming or starting with a really rough coated dog. Actually I would prefer less grooming and definatley not as tight to the skin as the trend has been. After all as a working breed that coat does serve a purpose to protect skin and body.
