Here are my kids! Griffey as a young dog at a field trial. He's not my first Brit, but my first field trial dog & I love him for it! Griffey's favorite thing: chukar! Griffey and Nick's very first adult stake placement ever. Griffey came out of FT retirement to run as a "filler" dog. He wound up getting a placement! Bang at 5 weeks. Just born to be a star! First retrieve at 9 weeks old. Open Derby win. Nick ran her beautifully. Even our 3 year old son gets involved! Amateur Derby win. Small but mighty!!

To give you some in sight Mav, Griffey and Omen were puppy/derby dogs together ;D It is very hard to see the age in Griffey's face now.

Thanks everybody! Helen, that snakebite really took a toll on the old man. He was 6 when he got bit, and turned grey very soon after. Also his stamina was greatly reduced! Nick can only hunt him for 2 -3 hours max now.

I just have to add one more. We take in fosters occasionally, and this is a picture of the amazing dog we fostered for a little while last winter. He bonded with my son immediately. I was sad to see him go, he was an awesome dog all around. He was adopted on Christmas Eve by a wonderful family who had adopted another Brittany a couple years before!
