Anyone have any good plans and /or pics of their whelping boxes? We plan on building our own and have a pretty good idea of what we want, just thought we would ask you all for your ideas. Thanks!

Here are some pictures of boxes I have seen. This is a hex shape whelping box I really liked. Can't remember who built it. Just found it on the web. This one uses PVC for the guard. Gotta love the economy of this one. A kiddie pool and 3" drain pipe zip-tied to the edges. Still haven't decided what I want to build. What are your plans?

I use a pool, and it is very convenient with easy clean up. Have used whelping boxes in the past, but I must say, I am favoring the pool now days.

Thanks for the replies. I picked up a pool at the end of summer anticipating a late fall/early winter litter, but doesn't look like we'll get puppies until Mid march now. I think I am going to go with the pool as well, rather than build a box. Cheap and easy clean up!
