The Northern Nevada Brittany Club and the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of Reno are conducting SEPARATE Hunt Tests at the same location. You will have the opportunity of receiving four qualifications over a single weekend. The fall crisp air and the high desert surroundings provide an ideal hunt test site. The Hunt Tests will be September 12 & 13, 2009.
The same weekend the Great Reno Balloon Races will also be in town, so if you have not experienced it come and enjoy the races as well as the entertainment and nightlife that the Reno area has to offer.
ALL HUNT TESTS ARE $45.00
Bring your own water, shade and chairs. You may camp on the grounds. Note: the Reno/Sparks desert wilderness is dry. – NO SMOKING EXCEPT IN CAMP/PARKING AREA. NO OPEN FIRES, ETC. – BE CAREFUL – carry extra water and a shovel in your vehicle.
The Super 8 Motel in Sparks has reasonable room rates and an area to walk your dogs adjacent to the River. 1900 E. Greg Street, Sparks, NV 89434 (775) 358-8884.
OBEY ALL SPEED LIMITS. Eagle Canyon Drive and the Paiute Indian Reservation are heavily policed. Keep in mind that on the Reservation alcohol is not permitted and keep all firearms secure and out of sight while driving through the Reservation.
