I am getting my liver bitch ready for her first show at the Futurity in April. She's coming along nicely, however I have a question about Black on Black shampoo. I got some to see if it would intensify the richness of the liver color. She has some orangy hues on her eyebrows and muzzle almost like a tri, but she's not a tri. I thought the Black on Black would darken those bleached out areas, but it seemed to bring the orange out more. Any suggestions?

Black on black will just enhance the color. There is this stick thing you can buy, I used it when I showed Danes, to darken their mask. Not sure how it'd work on a Brit, but its I think Chris Christenson...Yep here it is...I'll post the link below: www.chrissystems.com/chris_stix.htmIts simple to apply, just get it moist and rub on. But by sure to let it dry, as it will rub off when first put on. As I said, I used it on Danes, which have smooth coats...so I dont know how it'd work for a Brits coat...but thats all I can think of right now... :-)

I would not worry about the phantom marks on her face....she is Tri factored nothing to be shamful of. I have shown Liver successfully with phantom marks and have had no problems.
